The pricing for your translation projects is based upon the number of words in your document.

Here at DITTO, we apply the word count method based on the number of source words so you can know upfront the cost of your translation. If the number of words in your original document (source) is 2500 and the number of words in the translation (target) is 2700, the pricing will be based on the words in the source document. 
 
Your pricing is inclusive of:

  • Assignment of a translator experienced in the subject matter of the given project
  • Proofreading by a qualified proofreader/editor 
  • Consultancy with specialists operating in the field of your subject matter
  • General formatting of the target document
  • Modifications to the target document within ten days of submission of the translated material


Pricing is fixed based on several criteria:


  • Language combination
  • Technicality of the subject matter
  • Required submission date


Editing services are also charged on a word count basis depending on how much the original text needs to be reworked.
